Your right, that brock had a loaded roster this brock has a contract that will keep that from happening again.

The eagles are proof that 50 mil qb is not why our roster isn't stacked

Oh, okay. Well, I guess that settles it then. I'm very relieved.

Good. I am glad.

Get some rest.

Lets not forget purdy is not throwing to aiyuk and samuel. He is throwing to the midget pearsal coming off a bum knee and jennings with four broken ribs. Just doesn't make sense to test mano a mano jump ball situations against a decent panther backfield.

Pearsall is an inch taller than Aiyuk at 6'1". He's also a little faster so why are you calling him midget.

You are correct. He!s so slender! I figured he was shorty. But nope. I said it wrong but he's still not the guy i want on jump balls. Especially dinged up.
Brock is occasionally still making the same mistakes he has since he became the starter. He's at his best when he takes what is open and doesn't try to force throws into coverage. He can get away with those throws when they're short ones but once he starts throwing 15-20 yards or more his lack of arm strength comes into play. If the receiver is clearly open he can make those throws but not when the DB is right on the receiver.

He now has 9 regular season games with multiple INTs. Three have been 3 or more INTs. For a player that is supposed to be really smart and processes well that's too many. What was really disturbing last night was he wasn't under much pressure. If he was under a fierce pass rush all night maybe the INTs could be excused.
I understand the frustrations but I also think it's a bit of overreaction Tuesday lol we will see. I am not super confident about the next game though lol
Someone got livid at me because I brought up the 4 int game at the Ravens a few years ago. But that wasn't my main point - it was what he did last year as well. It's a trend with BP. He's an interception machine. This s**t needs to stop.

His career is still relatively young when you include injuries. When he's hot he is hot. I prefer this happens and he learns. There was a time when Jalen Hurts was doing similar. It was stated the staff was on him so hard he became afraid to take a chance and that was worse than the INTs. He is now passed that.

I do not want to see Brock become scared to throw. That is not the answer. Let him work thru it. Stay focused on good Brock for a couple more seasons. He really is still a pup.

The Niners are kind of in a tough spot with Brock. They gave him that big contract extension so now they need to play him. Until he shows he can't do the job they're going to give him a long leash. Especially after seeing Deebo and now Aiyuk get big contracts and then do nothing.

For the record while I was highly disappointed in Brock last night I do believe that will be an aberration and not the norm.

Just one of those games...it's all about bouncing back and shaking it off mentally.

Of course the problem is...Cleveland's defense. I hope Brock gets back on track cuz we cannot turn the ball over in that game and hope to win IMO. It will be a low scoring game since we always struggle vs those defenses and odds are Brock will be getting hit while throwing so his decisions better be on point.
for some time it's been quite annoying to come here and find the same negative nancies (like DrEll, Jose Cortez, Koldo,...) spreading their doom nd darkness all over the place,... but now a s**tload of people have joined them,..... cannot imagine what this would be if we had lost

i would recommend a little bit of this

Brock has shown to be an elite processor and Brees has said that Purdy reminds him of himself but I digress lol.

And I agree about Young, I think we saw some of that during this game..as far as using his legs. He was nice and scrambly out there and got some 1st downs. And I have been saying he is more athletic than ppl give him credit for. He has super strong legs..use them more

You don't get to continue to use the "elite" processing praise, when it's not consistent though. Cool Brees sees an undersized white QB with a subpar arm, much like himself. Brees is by far more accurate than Brock. Outside of one amazing season from Brock we've gotten injuries and mid level play. It's the truth unfortunately.

you can't pay a guy a $265M and have him floating out INTs, especially when his backup is doing just fine with the same (or worse) talent around him.

If he's not seeing the field well, use your legs to make some positive plays and take what's there. I know you're gonna be positive on Brock no matter what, but sometimes we gotta call like it is….doesn't mean he can't get back to playing like he did in 2023, but he simply hasn't been that for a little bit

He's definitely not Brees at his level of processing, good, but not at his level. And while Brees did not have a cannon of an arm, Brock's arm strength this even worse, so his margin of error on those deeper throws is much less than Brees was.

Brock has been having these issues since the latter part of the 23 season. It seems teams have adjusted and he's been inconsistent at best. This may unfortunately be who he is at this point. I really want Brock to succeed and be our guy, but right now it is not looking like he will be.
He needs to learn to play like the outsiders think he played when he first came in the league. What i mean by that is everyone outside of the fanbase thought he just dinked and dunked the whole time not knowing he was ranked at the top in air yards, etc.

He gambles and wants to push the ball down the field. He was successful and lucky the first couple of years and that was what we all fell in love with but it seems his luck has ran out. Time to be like Mac Jones and take what the defense gives you. Protect the football.

He's 19TD, 15INT dating back to the KC game at home last year. That's alarming.

Not sure if it's adjusting or those "missed" INTs are actually being caught now.

every 49er fan should want him to be the dude. I think we need to keep our expectations in check with him as a player. He's not that high end trait guy. There's things he's simply never gonna be able to do…his margin of error isn't as great as a Josh Allen type of guy.

I keep saying it but he's a gunslinger without a gun, his mindset is Dan Marino or Farve, but his actual talent level is more Andy Daltonish.

hopefully he gets his s**t together because he's the guy going forward for the next couple seasons.

I am not convinced he's fully healthy, or at the minimum fully confident he won't reinjure his toe. Int #2 and #3 were on passes that sailed, and that often happens when a passer is not fully confident that he can step into a throw without pain.

He can't be late with the ball and fit it in the windows. That's been the issue.

Needs to run more. Use his legs and let the guys get open if it's not there. The pick in the endzone was like that just needs to be executed better.
